Ghana’s NCA Public Consultation on Two Communications Bills

On 16 October 2025, the NCA formally launched public consultations on two draft bills—the National Communications Authority Bill, 2025, and the Electronic Communications Bill, 2025. Both bills are aimed at repealing and replacing the existing legislative frameworks governing Ghana’s communications sector: Act 769 (NCA Act, 2008) and the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775).
