India TEC is seeking public consultation on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz ER

India’s Telecommunication Engineering Centre has opened a consultation on draft Essential Requirements for wireless equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. 
The draft covers Wi-Fi access points, Wi-Fi controllers, Wi-Fi base stations, CPE, and PTP/PMP wireless systems. It includes requirements for radio conformance, frequency use, EIRP, EMC, electrical safety and relevant interfaces.

Stakeholders should review the draft and submit comments before 2026-06-06.
