CONATEL will carry out a public consultation on a draft resolution for fees for 2023

The National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) of Honduras has announced that it will hold a public consultation on the Draft Normative Resolution for setting fees and standards for 2023.

This public consultation is an opportunity for the general public to learn about and provide input on the determination of fees and standards in the telecommunications

Amongst the proposals there is an increase in the regulator fee and a provision that applications can now only include one model. Also that each application will result in the emission of one authorised Certificate of Homologation, and if an additional copy is desired, an additional 10% of the applicable fee must be paid.

Those interested in participating can submit their comments via email to consulta.publica@conatel.gob.hn. The consultation will be open from December 27, 2022 to January 10, 2023 on the CONATEL website.
