Although the type approval guidelines have listed samples as part of a complete type approval application package, the regulator (NCC) has previously required samples on a case-by-case basis, particularly for equipment such as cellular-enabled products, laptops, PCs, and similar devices. Moving forward, the new management at NCC intends to strictly enforce the measures related to sample requirements.
