SRRC - MIIT modifies CMIIT ID codification policy and certificate design

In order to optimize the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate style and also the CMIIT ID Codification Rules, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued the revision of the "Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Certificate Form" and the "Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Code Coding Rules" on 31 August 2023. Both documents can be found in the links below:

These regulations will come into force from 12 December 2023.

The Circular of the Ministry of Information Industry on Strengthening the Management of Radio Transmitting Equipment (MIIT No. [1] No. 1999) and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Changing the Format of Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Code (MIIT No. [363] No. 2009) are abolished.
